INFORMATION FOR 2010 - CLASSES
FOR TERM 2 RESUME ON WEDNESDAY 21ST APRIL..
We take continuous enrolments
during Term 2. Please look at our timetable, select your
class then phone us for an enrolment form to be posted
out to you. Once this is received back in our office,
your child will be booked in to the class(es) of your
choice,(providing there is a vacancy) otherwise put on
a waitlist. An account will then be sent. We offer 10%
discount on all fees paid within 2 weeks of starting
classes.
We are pleased to report a 100%
pass rate with the most recent Cecchetti Ballet exams,with
all students from Grade 5 to Advanced 1 receiving
Highly Commended or Honours.We are proud to announce that
16yr old student SAMANTHA VOTTARI was
the winner of both the Senior Classical Scholarship
and the Intermediate Modern Championship at Dance Competitions S.A. She was also runner-up in the
Gold Cecchetti Medal Award S.A, and represented the
state in the National Lucie Saranova Classical Ballet Competition in Sydney in
2009. In Feb 2010, she relocated to Melbourne to take
up a
major scholarship to the Victorian College of the
Arts, to complete yrs 11 &12 while undertaking
full time dance training.
Our end of year concert on Dec
12th at her Majesty's Theatre was a delight. All
students danced beautifully and seemed to have so much
fun. The enthusiasm backstage and from the sold out
audience was amazing. In 2010 we are hiring the
Festival Theatre so no-one misses out on tickets.
Over the Christmas break, the
main studio floor was completely professionally
re-surfaced, new cedar slat blinds fitted to all
windows, and a new larger refreshments fridge
installed. Drink prices $1 to $1.50.
Our shop is fully stocked with
shoes, tights, leotards and all dance accessories.
